The Woodstock Elementary School STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) Innovation Lab and Makerspace is an exploratory learning space that strives to infuse the STEM disciplines into the broader curriculum. We have established a science, engineering and design learning lab in its own dedicated space, preparing our students today with the critical thinking, designing, engineering and problem solving skills they need to fill the jobs of tomorrow!

KidSolve Club Makes Stools for the Third Grade

Our STEM Engineering Club has been in construction and painting mode for the last few weeks as they build and paint a set of small stools for our 3rd grade classroom.

KidSolve Engineering Club Makes Chart Holder

Students in our Engineering Club have worked with the 5th and 6th grade literacy teacher to create a holder for her charts and large posters. They designed it specifically to her specs, and checked with her periodically during the construction process. She loves it!
