VEEP (Vermont Energy Education Program) came to WES and worked with the fourth grade students to study the components of wind and solar energy. Students learned about how electricity is generated, and the difference between renewable and non-renewable resources. They tested optimum turbine blade or solar panel angles for optimum power production.
