Second Grade has been studying landforms and bodies of water on Earth in STEM. We recently finished the unit with a clay modelling activity. They had to create their own "continent" with at least two landforms and two bodies of water.
We poured water (colored blue for effect) on the top at the end to see how land and water interact.
