Woodstock received a grant at the very end of last year from Hypertherm to assist WES in purchasing a small, classroom sized CNC (carving) machine.
Having a CNC available in the STEM Lab allows students to turn their ideas into 3D wooden pieces and engages them deeply in the digital design and engineering process in their learning. 
Using a digital design program called Easel, with interfaces with a CNC that Third Grade students created ornaments for their families.
